Info

Like most boys, Pablo Pereira grew up riding his skateboard, loving the cool graphics and stickers that adorned it. They provided his first insight into the art world and from a young age influenced his drawings and painting.

He moved to the UK as a teenager where he completed high school and his “A levels” in art. While focusing on his painting, he became more and more interested in graphic design, designing flyers and posters for rave parties.

When he returned to Brazil, he did a graduate course in social communication, majoring in advertising and media at the Catholic University of Campinas, Sao Paulo. At the same time, he landed his first major job at a design studio before taking his skills to two advertising firms and an interactive agency.

In 2002, Pablo moved to Sydney where he worked as a freelancer and completed a graduate course in graphic design at the Sydney Graphics College.

After graduating, he returned to Brazil where he worked for the Catholic University of Campinas and for Ci&t, working in web projects for some of the world´s biggest and best known brands including Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson.

Earlier last year, he returned to Sydney with his wife Nanda and is working as a senior designer for Viocorp. Skilled in various art styles and media, Pablo Pereira, also known as Pablera, illustrates as much as possible and is always ready for a sunny surfing day in his spare time.
